Community Supports

Community Supports focus on helping individuals engage in meaningful activities outside the home, with the goal of building social connections, enhancing skills, and promoting full participation in community life.
These supports may include assistance with using public transportation, participating in recreational activities, accessing local resources, or developing vocational and volunteer opportunities.
Under ODP guidelines, Community Supports are essential for fostering inclusion, self-determination, and skill development in real-world environments, helping individuals to be active and valued members of their communities.
